The Mid-Autumn festival, also known as the Moon festival, dates back to the Tang dynasty and is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar when the moon is full. It is a time where family and friends get together to celebrate and is normally accompanied with Moon Cakes to eat.
