Australia: Sydney Dafa Practitioners Introduce Dafa at the Mind, Body, and Spirit Festival

The 20th Annual Newfoundland Province Mind, Body, Spirit Festival was held in Sydney's Darling Port Convention Centre from May 1st to May 4th. It was the eighth time in five years that Falun Dafa practitioners participated in this type of activity, including the All Australia's Mind, Body Festival. As a specially invited organisation, we were provided, by the organiser of the Festival, free space close to the ticket booth and entrance, for practitioners to put up an information table and demonstrate Dafa exercises.

During the festival, festival-goers and merchants alike expressed great interest in Falun Gong. People came to acquire information and get information about the practise sites. Some wanted Dafa music and practise tapes. Some merchants stopped by the Dafa booth whenever possible, to learn the exercises.

On the first day of the festival a lady from Russia enquired about the practise site information. On Saturday she came to the local practise site and learnt the exercises. After the practise, she came to our Dafa booth again and told practitioners that she felt very comfortable after the exercises. A practitioner gave her Zhuan Falun in Russian and an exercise teaching videotape. She said she would read the book carefully.

An Israeli visiting Australia also visited the booth. He had practised Taiji for 20 years and has been teaching Taiji for ten years. He said he could feel a very strong energy field. He said that when he went back he would contact the local practise site and practise Falun Gong.
