Description:

Mr. Shuqiang Li is the husband of Ms. Lili Zhao, a Chinese national who has obtained refugee status.

In June 2000, Mr. Li was arrested and detained at a detention centre in Shenzhen city. He was released within 2-months.

He was again arrested in December 2000, after appealing on Tiananmen Square. Under torment in prisons, Mr. Li re-developed haemorrhoids, which had previously been cured after he begun practising Falun Gong. He was sent to a hospital for emergency rescue, however was still placed under close surveillance.

Currently Mr. Li is detained in Guangdong Shanshui Labour camp.

Mr. Zhonglin Luo was living in Wanzhou City, Sichuan Province, China. He has been sentenced to three years in a labour camp in Chongqing City for continuing to practice Falun Gong.

Description:

Mr. Chenyang Li was employed as a technician at the Ha’erbin Branch of the People’s Bank of China. He was twice detained in November 1999 and February 2001, both times after appealing for Falun Gong in Beijing.
